Yesterday we framed the subfloor and put flashing on it….     Note that the subfloor is currently upside down to prevent any rain from getting in and we plan to flip it over once we are ready to bolt it all down and insulate.

So it continues to be awhile between posts to this blog.  Mostly that is because there is currently a lot going on in my life, and in my spare moments I am continuing to work on my design. First Ever Tiny House Festival in Canada

Habitat Multi Generations, out of Quebec, is hosting it’s first ever Tiny House Festival this July 24th – 26th.   The festival will have inspirational speakers, exhibitors, La Grande Invasion film, a visit to a Tiny House residential community, and more.   The event is happening in Lantier, Quebec Canada just north of Montreal. Review: TinyHomeBuilders.com Instructional Videos

I’ve really been enjoying watching the video’s by Dan Louche of TinyHomeBuilders.com.  I feel he’s done a really great job of outline the construction process of building a Tiny Home.
